The new design for renovating the Washington neighbourhood takes a balanced step between design, street harmony and cost effective measures. The idea was also to have a positive effect on the streetscape by bringing some life to the old mundane houses of that neighbourhood. We have transformed the old garage and unused backyard spaces into a more usable and adaptive functions there by reviving the place inside out and giving a much better quality place to live. The idea of this particular revivals of such mundane and worn out buildings is to set an example to revive similar neighbourhoods and create more friendly and welcoming spaces in the neighbourhood with cost-effective measures and desirable results for all.
